
Paperless VA was established in 2013 by Linda Hansen, and has been providing remote bookkeeping, payroll and back office services to clients ever since.
We provide complete, accurate, individualized bookkeeping, payroll and financial services to individuals and small companies. Our specialty is getting bookkeeping set up (or cleaned up) for newly established LLC's and S-Corps and providing a customized monthly review and reconciliation services to ensure books are ready for tax time.
We ensure clients have 24/7 access to accurate financial information that is protected with bank-level encryption.
Our goal is to help clients "free up time to do what they do best". Outsourcing financial record keeping frees up owners to engage more with customers and focus on business growth and development, based on sound financial data.
Paperless VA works closely with your CPA or other Tax Professional and provides all necessary year-end tax reports. If you need a referral for a tax professional, we work with a great CPA firm (Tony Quach & Co. located in San Francisco, CA) that can assist you with developing a tax strategy and filing income taxes.

Linda Hansen, about me...
My husband, Dan and I semi-retired from our careers in Santa Rosa, CA and established an off-grid homestead located in Ettersburg, CA, near the "Lost Coast" in 2010.
We enjoy the outdoors and live near the Mattole River and the Shelter Cove, surrounded by dense forests and amazing views. We love the challenges of maintaining off-grid water and solar power systems, caring for our many animals, composting, gardening, and preserving what we harvest.​

Professionally, I have 12+ years of owning and managing my bookkeeping firm, Paperless VA. I have over 20 years of corporate bookkeeping, budgeting, HR management and payroll experience.
I am a Certified Quickbooks Online Pro-Advisor, Xero Accounting advisor, and Gusto Payroll partner. I'm proficient in FreshBooks Accounting as well as Wave Accounting software. I also have extensive experience in Asana Workflows and Project Management, as well as some Social Media Marketing and Website Design and Development.
I love my job, my home, and my office! We are committed to being environmentally sustainable. Our office is nearly paperless and powered by the sun!
