Bookkeeping Packages

Our bookkeeping services are provided using QuickBooks Online Essentials or Plus, which means your data is available to you on Mac, PC, smartphone, and tablet. Providing accurate, accessible information online helps you stay in touch with every detail of your financials, while freeing up the time it would take to manage the books on your own.

Linda is a certified ProAdvisor for Quickbooks online. She re-certifies as required so that her QuickBooks expertise is always up-to-date. She is also proficient on Quickbooks Desktop, Freshbooks and Wave Accounting.

 

PVA is available to consult with you on goal setting and company targets. Company scorecard services are available to help you see your successes and financial opportunities at a glance. Services

New Company Set-up

 

For those starting a new set of books using QuickBooks Online Plus, this service includes setting up a QB Online Account and a custom chart of accounts, setting up bank and credit card feeds, basic navigation training, and email support for the first month. Set up starts at $300 prepaid.

Quickbooks Desktop to QuickBooks Online

Includes evaluation of your company's suitability for using QB Online. We make a copy of your Quickbooks Desktop file and prepare it to test in the new software. The following services are included:

  • Review the QuickBooks Desktop File using a 50-point checklist

  • Provide a list of items/features you will lose in the process of conversion

  • Make a recommendation for QuickBooks Essentials or Plus

  • Create a new QBO Company File

  • Journal Entries to update balance sheet post conversion

  • 15-minute overview on using QuickBooks Online after the conversion

  • Review QBO settings; setup custom forms, including company logo

  • Price quote for customization of QuickBooks Online beyond conversion

  • Customized price quote for monthly bookkeeping services

 

QBO is a subscription service. PVA offers wholesale subscription rates that are lower than retail, and will be billed through PVA.

Company Review prior to signing on

 

A full review of your current QBO company file is required to determine the amount of updating and clean up needed prior to beginning monthly services. A report of our findings will be provided along with recommendations for bringing your file up-to-date. The cost is $175 payable prior to beginning the review. This fee may be applied as a credit to any clean up that is needed, or your first month's service charge. If the books are up to date, we can begin your service plan immediately.

If clean up is needed, a customized quote will be provided for the work needed to bring your file up-to-date. A 75% deposit will be required up front, with the balance due and payable upon completion of the work. Clean up may include:

  • Condensing the file

  • Data Entry

  • Journal Entries or Adjustments

  • Reconciling Bank Accounts

  • Cleaning up reconciliation discrepancies

  • Making Inventory Adjustments

  • Cleaning up item lists

  • Cleaning up chart of accounts

  • Cleaning up the Customer List

  • Cleaning up the Vendor/Other names List

  • Setting up budgets

  • Any training or answering, “how do I…” questions

  • Setting up multi-currency

  • Setting up items/groups

  • Customizing Reports

  • Setting up Bank Feeds, downloading transactions beyond 90 days, and/or excluding extra downloaded transactions

 

Ongoing Bookkeeping Services

Basic Service:

Client pays bills and creates and sends invoice

PVA provides (monthly):

  • applies invoice payments

  • imports transactions via bank feed (up to 3 accounts)

  • reconciles up to 3 bank/credit card accounts

  • provides Income Statement

  • weekly email update/support

 

Full Service: 

Client provides scanned receipts

PVA provides:

  • Monitoring and review of bank feeds and transactions

  • Download and online backup of bank statements

  • Attaching receipts to QBO Transactions

  • Monthly Income Statement and Balance Sheet

  • Quarterly review via custom reports

  • Email and text support

Premium Service: 

Includes Full Service Plan, plus:

  • setting up company budget

  • company goal setting (4 key items)

  • company scorecard (visual of progress toward goals)

  • suggestions and collaboration for improving business processes

  • support, training and consulting

Monthly Add On Services:

  • Accounts Payable: Client provides bills approved for payment

  • Year End 1099-Misc filing: Client provides W-9's from subcontractors

  • Intuit or Gusto Full Service Payroll integration

  • Implementation of time tracking and integration with payroll and QuickBooks Online (TSheets, Harvest)

  • Implementation of expense reporting process

Pricing is based on volume of transactions per month. Services are paid in advance by ACH. Packages start at $150 per month.
